Reagents And Catalysts

Once you find a cauldron which does look similar to a cooking pot so it should be easy to find, you can make potions. The potions you can make range from a water breathing potion to an interchange potion, of course these different potions require different ingredients and these ingredients can be very rare some worth up to 50,000 galleons or more! But first you should start with, What is a Reagent? A reagent is what makes the potion what the potion will be, for example if you do seaweed it will make a water breathing potion or if you put bones it will make a harming potion. However most of the time there are two types of ways to make 1 effect most notably a water breathing potion which is “Decent Water breathing” can become a “High Quality Water breathing” with Auric seaweed a rare variant of seaweed. A catalyst however decides the length of a potion and how the potion is applied and these too have variants like a basic Clam can be a catalyst but if you find a blue clam which is a higher rarity it will increase the length of the potion. Another thing to note about reagents is that however many of the ingredient you put in will impact the strength of the potion ranging from a “Lesser” potion to a “Perfect” potion.
